All active JRS members will receive their annual Benefit Statement with the latest edition of the Panel newsletter in late-August. JRS retirees and survivors will receive their Benefit Statement in March.
The active member Benefit Statement provides specific information about your JRS account. It lists any service you may have with a reciprocal system, estimates monthly pension & survivor benefits, and shows your total service credit.
It also displays your named beneficiaries in the Death Benefits section. You may change your beneficiaries at any time by completing and filing with JRS a new Nomination of Beneficiaries form (available on-line or on the last page of the Panel newsletter).
